Smile Beyond is an in-network provider with most PPO dental insurance plans, which means we’re able to offer patients the highest discounts possible. However, if you do not have a PPO plan, we can still likely find ways to help you save. Just give our office a call, so we can go over your benefits. Knowing what these terms mean will help you quickly decipher your dental coverage:

Preventive: This refers to treatments like checkups, cleanings, X-rays, dental sealants, and fluoride treatments.

Basic Restorative: This covers services like bonding and fillings.

Advanced Restorative: Crowns, bridges, dentures, extractions, and root canal therapy are all considered advanced restorative treatments.

Cosmetic: Typically this means treatments like teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, and direct bonding.

Annual Maximum: The highest dollar amount a plan will pay for care in a given year. Typically, this amount resets either at the beginning of the calendar year or 12 months after someone began the policy.

How to Get the Most Out of Your Plan
Every dental insurance plan is unique from provider to provider, but most offer coverage that looks something like this:

Preventive care is covered 80-100%

Basic Restorative is covered 50-70%

Cosmetic services are usually NOT covered
For the majority of people, it’s best to use insurance to primarily pay for preventive services. By taking this approach, you’ll receive the most savings possible, plus getting regular checkups and cleanings will dramatically lower your chances of needing more advanced treatments that have less coverage.
We Offer In-Network Savings & Welcome Out-of-Network Plans

Are you or your family currently without dental insurance? Don’t think that disqualifies you from getting the care you deserve! We offer a highly affordable in-office dental savings plan. By paying your annual membership fee, you’re automatically enrolled and ready to start saving. All treatments are discounted under the plan, with some other perks along the way for members only. This Membership Plan is a discount plan, and not an insurance plan. Membership fee is due at time of enrollment, and is non-refundable nor transferable. Members will not receive a membership card. This plan’s effective date will be on file with our office. Treatment started prior to enrollment is not eligible for discount. Membership Plan payments are completed in 6 month increments.
This is an in-office discount plan and is not a substitute for a comprehensive dental insurance plan. Membership cannot be combined with dental insurance nor can be applied to costs or services covered under workers compensation, or covered under auto or medical insurance.
For orthodontics and extensive treatment plans, member must remain a plan member for the duration of treatment to retain discount plan benefits.
Should member choose to use outside financing through Care Credit or Lending Club for dental treatment, the treatment discount will be reduced to 10% due to merchant fees.
Patients over the age of 15 will be applied as an adult because normally all their teeth are now adult teeth, and the patient would also receive an adult cleaning instead of a child prophy polish.
Membership can only be used for services performed in our office. It is the sole responsibility of the member to maximize benefits by arranging the appropriate appointments within the membership period. If the benefits are not used, the member will not be entitled to a refund. Renewal payment is due at the beginning of the 6 month cleaning appointment.
* Periodontal Care Plan includes 4 Periodontal Maintenance Cleanings in place of 2 Preventative Cleanings for patients with previous or existing periodontal disease and diagnosis.
