Veneers

If you are unhappy with the appearance of your smile due to unsightly or conspicuous cracks, chips, discoloration, or gaps between teeth, you can take action to correct these minor flaws with veneers. Dental veneers are thin wafers that your dentist designs from porcelain to fit over the surface of your teeth. The veneers will cover any chips, stains, uneven teeth, misaligned teeth, spacing problems, and other flaws. In most ways, veneers are the ideal option to give you that perfect smile that you’ve been dreaming about for so long.

One of the most significant benefits of getting dental veneers is that your smile will be permanently white. You don’t have to worry anymore about getting teeth whitening procedures, whitening toothpaste, or how to make your smile stand out. When you get veneers at Smiles and Beyond, you have a youthful, white smile, no matter your age. Veneers make you appear younger, healthier, and more confident.

When you come to get dental veneers, your dentist must prepare your teeth for the placement. He or she will remove a thin layer of the tooth to make sure that your teeth don’t feel or look awkward or bulky when you smile.

After preparing the surface of your tooth, your dentist will take a digital or putty impression from the inside of your mouth. This impression will go to a dental lab, where a specialist will make your porcelain veneers. When your veneers come back to Supreme Dentistry, you’ll go back for another appointment. There, your dentist will permanently bond them to your teeth.

Porcelain veneers require a quick, easy, and painless procedure. They will permanently brighten your smile and make it resistant to stains from tea, coffee, and other foods. However, if you have bad oral habits, like biting your nails, chewing on ice, or nibbling on pencils or pens, you must stop them as soon as possible. These habits can cause costly damage to your dental veneers.

Teeth Whitening

One of the most noticeable attributes of an attractive smile is bright, white teeth, we are pleased to offer both in-office and take-home tooth whitening options. Teeth whitening is easy and gives you dramatic results.

In the time it might take for your lunch break, you can have a beautiful white smile. Plan on being at our office for about an hour. The preparation of your teeth will take just a few minutes. The whitening peroxide process takes about 15 minutes, but this is usually repeated several times for a total of 45 minutes. While you wait for the process to work, you can relax and use our headphones to watch TV or listen to music.

We usually recommend that patients have their teeth cleaned before undergoing the whitening procedure.

Not everyone is an ideal candidate for teeth whitening services. Dental experts may not recommend teeth whitening for people with certain conditions, including:

  • Receding gum lines

  • Sensitive gums or teeth

  • Periodontal disease

  • Oral cancer

  • Damaged enamel
